FAQ

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your booking for a full refund with minimum 24 hours notice before your departure time. Due to limited space on our public tours, no refund is possible within 24 hours of tour departure.

Please Note: We may be able to reschedule your booking if unforeseen circumstances arise. This is based on tour availability.

* private tours and events has their own cancelation policy.

What if it rains?

Gdańsk is located over the sea, so the weather can be tricky, even in the summer time. We don’t let small rain keep us from riding and our tours depart rain or shine. You can still have an amazing tour if dressed for the weather, and we provide light ponchos for your use.

We do understand that not every weather is suitable for cycling , so if it is shower rain we cancel tour and we will refund your tour in full or try to reschedule if possible.

Please check out the local forecast and dress appropriately (local forecast).

Do I have to book a tour in advance?

Where do the tours start and end?

What time should I arrive for the tour? What if I’m late?

Please arrive no less than 15 minutes in advance of your tour departure so that you have time to sign a waiver form and be fitted for bike and helmet.

Tours start promptly at the time stated. We cannot wait for late guests as this affects the experience of other riders. If you are late, please try calling as we may be able to help you catch up with the group.

What kind of bicycles do you use?

Our bikes are new, comfortable trekking bikes  – very easy to adjust. A helmet and luggage rack for personal items are all included.

Can I bring my own bike?

Of course! Many hotels also offer complimentary bike use, and you are welcome to bring them. Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee or repair any bikes on the tour that are not our own. If you bring your own bike, please make sure it is in good working order. When booking you can indicate that no rental is required and you’ll receive a discounted rate on the tour.

Is the route of the trip demanding?

The route has been marked mainly on bicycle paths and streets with little traffic.  Altitudes of terrain are small, almost the entire route runs on flat terrain. Our tours require basic riding.

Expect to ride for a maximum of 15 minutes at a time between breaks. We make every effort to cater to the slowest rider in the group, but keep in mind that we have to try to keep our schedule on time. We stop regularly for information, bathroom breaks, and photo ops. Your tour leader will go over general group riding etiquette so that everyone rides safely, and you can come early to practice on our bikes to get comfortable before departure.
